Location
In the northwestern part of the prefecture of Serres, just 40 km from the city of Serres and about 100 km from Thessaloniki, we find one of the most beautiful places in Greece, the village of Kerkini very close to Lake Kerkini which gives its name to the homonymous lake and the natural border between Greece and Bulgaria, Mount Kerkini.
